Liberation a Scent for Al-Quds
🔻The age of liberation is here 🔻
Our best seller, reimagined for autumn/ winter.
Liberation 2.0, now has a hint of warming notes, whilst maintaining its original fresh scent.
This unisex scent was created for Hubb & Huriya by Mohammed Nedal, an incredibly talented Palestinian ‘nose’/ perfume artist, whilst we were sat a mere 50k from Al-Quds (Jerusalem), in As-Salt, Jordan. It is said on a clear day, you can see Masjid Al Aqsa from this vantage point, As we talked over coffee that evening, Mohammed recounted the smells of his homeland described by his mother, and so he created this scent.
It represents liberation.
It is the scent of sweet wild flowers growing in the winding alleys of Al-Quds, the pine trees in the morning, the red musk found around Al-Aqsa and the sweet hint of ginger and spice floating through the air.
Mohammed Nadal used Jerusalem narcissus, orchid flower, Calabrian bergamot and ginger in the top notes, Agar Wood, Incense and Saffron in the middle, and Lychee, Magnolia and Amber in the base notes.
As with all our products, they are sourced from Palestinians in Jordan, but this time, profits will go to help Mohammed and his family.
This is a concentrate, so a little goes a long way.
