Revolution (Thawra/Anqalab) 15ml

Created especially for Hubb & Huriya by Mohammed Nedal, an incredibly talented Palestinian ‘nose’/ perfume artist we met in Jordan, and affectionately named ‘The Magician’.

This scent embodies Revolution (Thawra in Arabic, Anqalab in Urdu). Crafted for Palestine and the struggle for freedom in Kashmir from occupation.

Top notes: sweet strawberry, delicate marshmallow

Middle: fresh pine, candy and papaya

Base: Soft Madagascan vanilla and patchouli

The combination, just like revolution, is anything but delicate. It comes together in harmony with the strength of a breeze that carries hopes and dreams across land and sea.

At times we may feel like our individual contributions, some loud, others silent, some overt and those that are subtle, are not enough. This scent is a reminder that just like the individual notes, revolutions are small elements that when combined, create a powerful tidal wave that will not stop until there is justice and compassion.

This is a oil based concentrate so a little goes a long way.

As with all our products, they are sourced from Palestinians in Jordan and a percentage of profits go to charity for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
